1. For the microfiber mop cloths, remove them from the clamp plate after each use. Rinse thoroughly with cold or warm water and a mild detergent. Hand washing is recommended to protect the microfiber structure. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these chemicals will break down the fibers and reduce their water absorption and dust trapping capabilities. If machine washing is preferred, place the cloths in a mesh laundry bag to prevent snagging. After washing, allow the cloths to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, which prevents mold growth and material degradation. It is recommended to replace the mop cloths every three to six months, or sooner if they become worn or less absorbent.
2. For the stainless steel telescopic pole and the plastic base, wipe them down with a damp cloth after use to remove dust, dirt, and cleaning solution residue. Never submerge the pole or base in water for extended periods, as water can seep into the internal joints and cause the metal to rust or the mechanisms to jam.
